Working with PR & Creative Agency Smarts, we helped people wake up to “contract regret” by serving up free coffee and legal advice at Kings Cross station.

Contractually Grinding.

SMARTY offers simple, honest mobile.  With over 1 million customers enjoying no annual price rises, just flexible 1-month plans (freedom!)

A poll of 2,000 adults found that one in three regrets getting tied down by long-term contracts such as gym memberships, mobile phone deals, and internet service providers.

42% of us forget to look at the fine print as we're too excited about our purchase (we’ve all done it)

With two in five wishing they could undo their decisions, contractual dispute barrister, Sandy Joseph, was on hand to help whilst serving up free coffees (what a smile!)

Hot drinks and hot advice

From our eye-catching vintage van, we had the best baristas from our friends at Tim’s Coffee working alongside Sandy, with queues forming for hot drinks and hot advice as Kings Cross came to life with commuters.

The free coffee (served by Sandy in full wig and gown) was a conversation starter, sparking interest in Smarty Mobile’s flexible and affordable SIM card offerings.

A caffeine kickstart

We served up early morning espressos, lunchtime lattes & mid-meeting macchiatos.

Each cup had a QR code that took people to a contract free SIM deal (we even put a cocoa powder logo on the cappuccinos…nice touch).

Coverage included The Daily Express, The Sun and The Daily Star.
